Qutub Minar is one of the popular historical places in India, It is about 15 km south of New Delhi. Qutub Minar is one of the tallest minarets in India and is made of red standstone and marble.I said you that it is the tallest minaret because it is of 73 meters height.

History of Qutub-Minar
             The Muslim ruler Qutb-ud-din triumphed over the last Hindu kingdom in Delhi. In 1193 he built the Qutub-Minar.This Minar is 14.3 m in diameter at the bottom and 2.7 m at the top.In 1193 Qutub-ud-din-aibak started construction, but it was not completed by him.He has completed its only basement floor. But his son in law Iltutmush created three more floors on the base floor and later in 1368 Firoz Shah Tughlak added the last floor of the Qutub Minar.

Qutub Minar is a highest minarets in india with 73 metres of height and made on Afghan architecture.Now it is a historical place not only in India but also in the world. It is a UNESCO world Heritage site and a tourist attraction in Delhi.Qutub Minar is a magnificent structure of red marble and is also known as symbol of islamic justice.
