1.Taj Mahal:
Taj mahal listed as one of the seven wonders of the world.The construction of Taj Mahal began in 1632 and was completed in 1653. So it took 21 years to build. Shah jahan was the son of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and he was married in 1612 to Mumtaj. But in 1631 his wife died during give birth to her 14 child.Shah jahan paid tribute to Mumtaj Mahal, known as the Great Taj Mahal.So Shah jahan make the Taj Mahal in memory of Shah jahan Mumtaj. After its construction, Shah jahan cut off the hands of the workers who built the Taj Mahal because that type of Mahal cannot be rebuilt.
2.Qutub Minar:
Qutub Minar is Mehrauli area of Delhi, India was started by the Qutub-Ud-din-Aibak the founder of Slave Dynasty in India was completed by his Son in Law Iltutmish. Along with this there is an ancient Iron pillar which never rust.It is mentioned that Qutub minar was built after destroying around 30–35 Hindu temples belonged to Tomar dynasty and Prithviraj Chauhan.Qutub minar is a must visit place in delhi.
3.Ajanta and  Ellora Caves:
The Ajanta and Ellora caves are surprisingly carved in the middle of nowhere. There are 34 caves in Ellora between the 6th and 11th centuries AD, and 29 caves at Ajanta between the 2nd century BC and the 6th century AD. While the Ajanta Caves are rich in paintings and sculpture, the Ellora Caves are famous for their exceptional architecture. The most incredible thing about these caves is that they are handmade, with only the hammer and chisel.
4.Khajuraho Temples:
 Khajuraho temples are one of the best temples in the country's most beautiful medieval monuments. These temples were built by the ruler of Chandella. This is the golden age of the Chandella rulers. Every Chandela ruler would probably have built at least one temple in his lifetime. So not all Khajuraho temples were built by any single Chandella ruler but the temple building was followed by the tradition of the Chandella rulers.
5.Fatehpur sikri:
 starting with the name of this city "fatehpur sikri".Do you know why this city has named fatehpur sikri.There is a small story behind the name of this city.Before Fatehpur sikri it was known as sikrigrah and was built by Maharaja sangram singh who is the last emperor of Rajput Raja.Akbar attacks at this city for many times but when he attacks for the seventh time Rajput left this city Sikrigrah and because of these sikrigrah was named to fatehpur sikri.
